Owned By Dogs is instructed by trainer Lizz Wilson. Lizz has been working with and training dogs for 8 years and is actively involved in rescue, volunteering with the group Bullies In Need, as well as working in the veterinary field as a veterinary technician.

Lizz’s passion for training was born with her first dog Dante. Having worked with  many trainers and styles with Dante  she arrived under the instruction of Dave Walker and later assistant trainer to Amy McClung. From her experience Lizz  has pursued a balanced training style focusing on the relationship between dog and owner to create a well adjusted and socialized dog.

Working with the public both as a BIN representative and veterinary technician, Lizz understands the frustrations many owners have with their pets. She firmly believes that education is key in creating a positive environment where the owner achieves the desired relationship with their dog. Whether you have a new puppy, adopted an older dog or have an existing dog that needs some work, Lizz is committed to working with both owner and dog to create a balanced working relationship.
